Cynthia K. Thompson graduated from the University of Alabama Huntsville with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1983. She is a 1986 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law. She earned a Masters of Law in Taxation in 1990 from the University of Alabama School of Law. Ms. Thompson has practiced law at the firm for 13 years.

Ms. Thompson provides legal services for clients of the firm in the areas of education law, wills and trusts, estates and estate planning, and business entity formation. She is a native of Madison County. Ms. Thompson represents the Madison County Board of Education. She is the current President of the Alabama Council of School Board Attorneys, an organization formed to provide support and guidance to attorneys who represent school systems across the state of Alabama.

Ms. Thompson attends Hazel Green United Methodist Church where she is presently the Chairman of the Child Enrichment Center Board and has served on several other committees. She is a member of the Huntsville – Madison County Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, and the Alabama Council of School Board Attorneys.
