Christopher Weston is one of our lead attorneys focusing on Mold Litigation, Business Law, Contract Disputes, Landlord-Tenant Law, Criminal & DUI Defense and Domestic Relations. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School, in Albany, New York, in 2011, and two Bachelor of Arts Degrees from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, in 2008. At each of these institutions, Christopher Weston graduated with honors, achieved accolades on various scholarly achievement lists, placed in varying areas of competition, was a member of teaching fellow programs for the aid of other students, and became a duly-elected member of the Justinian Society for excellence in legal scholarship.
Before joining the prestigious law firm of Johnston Moore & Weston in 2017, Christopher successfully practiced the legal profession independently in Huntsville, Alabama, where client and business success were inextricably interdependent. He understands the paramount importance of each case, issue, and concern of those that he represents, and has direct experience in the importance of trust, competence, and availability in the legal profession.
Christopher has represented businesses and individual clients through some of the most difficult circumstances that they will face, and knows that attorney directness, diligence, and compassion are necessary components in triumphant dispute resolution, as well as success at trial.
Christopher Weston’s practice focuses, and has focused, primarily on contract dispute resolution, corporate law, business formation, partnership disputes, criminal/DUI defense, landlord-tenant law, property management disputes, mold litigation, and domestic relations trial advocacy. However, in every instance, his primary focus has always been on the possibility, and often probability, of adversarial litigation between parties.
Christopher has represented numerous clients throughout the State of Alabama, including area businesses, professors, professionals, doctors, and varying associations, where a reputation for being forthright with the represented is essential. His criminal practice has always consisted of zealous representation for those that face the potential loss of liberty, property, or license, with an intense focus on the actual and immense burden placed on an accuser.
Christopher has been a resident of Northern Alabama for the past twenty years, with the exception of his time spent in the State of New York, obtaining his Juris Doctorate. He has made the greater Madison County, Alabama, area his permanent home, and resides within the growing City of Madison, Alabama. Christopher intends to create personal and professional relationships in Northern Alabama for the remainder of his career, and eventually retire within a state, county, and city which he has aided in growth.
